Botox

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows. It is a ten-minute procedure that lasts approximately 3 months.

After receiving treatment, the recovery period is almost non-existent. BOTOX® recovery takes only minutes. In fact, you can return to work immediately after treatment. Strenuous exercise should resume only twenty-four hours after treatment. You should not, however, massage the treated area as this can potentially cause the Botox to spread to unintended areas and muscle groups.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is only recommended for people
18 to 65 years of age.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is certainly not just for women. If you are a man and think it's time to do something about the moderate to severe lines between your brows, talk to your doctor about whether BOTOX® Cosmetic is right for you.

As one of the most researched medicines in the world, BOTOX® is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of:

Cervical dystonia (CD) - head tilting, neck pain, and neck muscle spasms

CD is also known as spasmodic torticollis

Blepharospasm, or abnormal eyelid spasms (eye twitching)

Strabismus, also called crossed eyes

Symptoms of severe underarm sweating when topical medicines don't work well enough

Muscle stiffness in the elbow, wrist, and finger muscles associated with upper limb spasticity headaches associated with Chronic Migraine
